Our Services

Deep Brain Stimulation

Deep brain stimulation (DBS) involves implanting electrodes within certain areas of the brain. These electrodes produce electrical impulses that regulate abnormal impulses. Or the electrical impulses can affect certain cells and chemicals within the brain.

Spinal Cord Stimilation

A spinal cord stimulator (SCS) device is surgically placed under your skin and sends a mild electric current to your spinal cord. Thin wires carry current from a pulse generator to the nerve fibers of the spinal cord. When turned on, the SCS stimulates the nerves in the area where your pain is felt.

Baclofen Pump

A baclofen pump is a little machine that is placed under the skin of one side of the abdomen (belly) near the hip bone. It is used to deliver baclofen directly into the spinal canal.

Brain Tumor

A cancerous or non-cancerous mass or growth of abnormal cells in the brain. Tumors can start in the brain, or cancer elsewhere in the body can spread to the brain. Symptoms include new or increasingly strong headaches, blurred vision, loss of balance, confusion, and seizures. In some cases, there may be no symptoms. Treatments include surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy.

Epilepsy Surgery

Epilepsy surgery involves a neurosurgical procedure where an area of the brain involved in seizures is either resected, ablated, disconnected, or stimulated. The goal is to eliminate seizures or significantly reduce seizure burden. Approximately 60% of all people with epilepsy have focal epilepsy syndromes.

Vagal Nerve Stimulation

Vagus nerve stimulation is a medical treatment that involves delivering electrical impulses to the vagus nerve. It is used as an add-on treatment for certain types of intractable epilepsy and treatment-resistant depression
